Kelly Garrett’s debut YA, The Last To Die, was an Oregon Book Awards finalist. It was re-issued by Sourcebooks Fire in November 2019. Kelly is also a 2020 Oregon Literary Fellow.

Kelly also writes for adults as Emmeline Duncan. The first novel in her Ground Rules series, Fresh Brewed Murder, came out in April 2021. The second novel in the series, Double Shot Death, will be published by Kensington Books in April 2022.

When not writing, Kelly spends her time hiking and seeking out new coffee shops. She also spends more time than she wants to admit trying to convince her rescued Great Pyrenees that she’s not a sheep who needs to be protected. But who can resist this face?
